HICKLING BASIN

A short section of canal has been restored at a local beauty spot at Hickling. The basin has been tidied up and two accommodation swing bridges have been installed. See the pictures below to see the work »

View of Hickling Basin. A water point has been installed for future use.

Hickling Bridge. A swing bridge might be the only solution here due to the lack of space for a fixed bridge.

Part of the work involved regenerating the tow path.
